6-8-08 The Challenge Is On!!! (and the classes just keep on rolling)

We're excited to share our first card submission for this month's card and layout challenge. The designer used brackets, bling and a clip in her card. How cute!!! To be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate, read the challenge directions on the June 4th posting. Create, share and have fun...what more could you want?

Two special projects are scheduled for next Saturday, June 14th. Sign up to make a great "DAD" layout created by Lisa and a mini wordbook designed by Renee. When you sign up for both projects you save money. Stop by any time between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. next Saturday to make both projects. They make great gifts too!

6-6-08 Best Friend's Day

This Sunday is Best Friend's Day. What a perfect opportunity to celebrate your best friend with a card. If you don't have a card on hand, stop by the shop tomorrow. We have Make-n-Take cards at the Embellish-ment Bar that you can put together quickly. If you're really pressed for time, check out our pre-made cards by the register.

Try something new! Step out of your comfort zone! Get your creative juices flowing! But most of all have FUN!!! This month's challenge is to create a card or layout using brackets, some bling and a paper clip. We hope our interpretations of this challenge inspire you.

Submit an entry for our Diva Designers' Card and Layout Challenge. By the 5th of each month our designers will post a card and layout as inspiration for you to create your contest entry.

To enter follow these simple steps:

• Follow the prompts for the month's challenge. For example, if the prompt states use ribbon and a number in your title, you must incorporate these elements in your entry to be eligible for the prize.


• Drop off your entry at the shop by the 25th of the month (close of business). We will make a copy of your entry and return the original to you.


• Two winners will be selected each month. One winner for the card design and one winner for the layout design.


• Both winners will receive a $25 gift certificate from Scrap-n-Stamp.


• All entries will be posted on Scrap-n-Stamp's blog the following month.


• Only one entry per person please.

World Card Making Day

Can you believe tomorrow is World Card Making Day?? I didn't know there was such a thing. I was surfing the internet for some new techniques and there it was. So stop by Scrap-n-Stamp and let your creative juices take over. Or step up to the embellishment bar and select one of our pre-designed "Make-n-Take" cards. All you have to do is glue and stamp.

6-1-08 Relaxing with Coffee and the Sunday Paper

After yesterday's busy Sidewalk Sale it's nice to relax with a strong cup of coffee and look at the Sunday paper. I sure wish I had this beautiful coffee tray Lisa created to serve my coffee on. Lisa used a Bare Elements tray, Creative Imaginations' Coffee Phrases paper and stickers, acrylic paints and distress inks for this project. It's gorgeous! Whatever you have planned....enjoy your day.
