Welcome back Sommer and Kim!

As most of you know, Sommer and Kim were both on maternity leave from SnS. We missed you gals and it's nice to have you back. I can't take credit for these card...Denise made it for the two of you and I might be sharing this before she's giving them to you :-)

The story goes...we knew Sommer was having a boy and she had already picked a name...


As for Kim, she didn't have a name picked out (or so she says...and maybe just didn't want to leak it out just yet)...so Denise created these cards with the hopes of personalizing them, but oh well. Kim's baby girl got a flower instead :-)

Look Out Scrap-n-Stamp....

Kim and I are back!!! Yep, we are off maternity leave. We are both ready for creativity and adult conversation. That didn't take long did it? I guess a newborn and a toddler can drive anyone back to work. We have a cool job so it's more like a peaceful oasis without dirty diapers, tantrums or crying babies. We will both be working this Saturday from 10-2. Stop by and say hello...Please we need mental stimulation :-)

Birthday Card

I made this card for my mom's Birthday. I always like to try new techniques, and this time I tried using my small corner rounder punch to make the scalloped strip on the card. It took some time to figure it out, but after a couple of tries I had it down. I also like the looks of the rounded corner's on the card. If you have the corner rounders try using it to make a scalloped edge, it's not hard. But if you have trouble with it stop by the store and have one of the girls show you how.



And with the scrap's I was able to make these:
