My Minds Eye just arrived...new from CHA 2010!

Creativity, Potty Training and Recycling all in one.

Are you asking yourself, how in the world do these three things go together? I have been trying to potty train my Daughter Kaitlyn. We have been encouraging her to go on the potty for the last couple of months and every time she does she gets a Jelly Belly. This last week I decided to bite the bullet and put her in training underwear. I knew she would need a little more encouragement. A few days earlier I had emptied a Mayonnaise Jar and I saved it so I could make something out of it. It came to me that I could make a potty prize Jar for Kaitlyn and fill it with little trinkets and stickers from the dollar store. Here is the Jar before:

And the jar is a huge success!!! Three days in training underwear and yesterday no accidents!!!

A Reminder for all us lady's....

I made this card for my mom's good friend who will be going in for surgery on Friday. They found a tumor on her uterus and need to remove it and ensure there are no other tumors. This is not a very happy topic, but this is a good reminder that as women we need to go in and have our yearly exam. She will be in my thoughts and prayers this Friday. I hope the card lifted her spirits before her surgery. So if it has been more than a year since your last exam make an appointment!!!
