Another fun card...

My husbands boss took all the managers, supervisors and their families to Reno for a weekend. Now I'm not big on gambling, but a free night in Reno with no kids sounded like fun to me. We had a blast. We went to a comedy club, had a great dinner and went white water rafting. It was so much fun, I felt I need to make a fabulous Thank You card.


Here is what I came up with:

I got the Reno cut-out at the Scrapbook Expo and the Thank You I cut using my Pazzel.

Look what we found in Oahu, Hawaii!

Aloha "mainland" folks! Our quick trip to Oahu, we met some of the nicest folks in Kailua...a scrapbook store called a A Place in Time! Priscilla and her husband Bill, not only were kind enough to let us in early (before the store open)...but provided so much information on cool techniques. The are the true experts in stenciling. So if you ever go to Oahu...this is a must see for all you crafters. Check out there website at http://www.ptcraftshop.com/, you'll find things that you can't find outside of the islands. Mahalo to Priscilla and Bill...A Place in Time is wonderful!

The Sizzlin' Summer Paper Chase has come to an end. For those of you who didn't get a picture of our layout, here it is... Sizzlin' Summer Paper Chase

New Custom School Papers!!

Back to School is right around the corner, or already here for some of us. I know if you are like me you will be taking a bunch of back to school pictures. Kaitlyn's Onesie

I surf the internet and various scrapbooking websites for ideas and inspiration. A while back I had posted a link on Facebook of a cute idea that I found on Scrapbook.com. It was a layout done using your child's first Onesie or outfit. I bought a shadowbox and used the same concept, so now I can hang it in Kaitlyn's room. I think it turned out pretty good.

Oop's My mistake

Good thing Debbie checks the blog. The other day I blogged about the Sizzling Summer Paper Chase and I wrote the following:

Come by Scrap-n-Stamp with your passport, shop, spend $5 after your discount and you get the first page. You can purchase the companion page for $2 or if you spend $10 after your discount you will receive both pages.

The last part should read : you will receive the first page and our Scrap-n-Stamp Pin.

Sorry for the confusion ladies :-)
