I was browsing through the Sunday paper yesterday and noticed a great deal that I just have to share with everyone. If you own a Cricut you need to check out the cartridges they have on sale at Big Lots!!! $30 for cartridges, not sure which one's they have but I think that is a good buy and it might be worth it to go check them out. International Goof-Off Day...really!

Now here's a day that just about everybody can relax and enjoy. It's a day to do anything and everything.....except what you're supposed to do today. So SCRAPBOOK :-)

Assuming you won't get in trouble at work or school, go ahead and play some golf, or play video games all day. Spend extra time surfing the net. Go out and spend the day window shopping with your favorite friend. Or, just read sit down and read a book or watch Tv. This day is set aside for you to do anything you enjoy doing.

A few years ago, a survey was performed to identify the most popular activity for goofing off. The top activity was playing video games. Who conducted the survey? Ninetendo.......no surprise. It kinda makes you wonder just who might have had the brainstorm to create this day......hmmmm.

Happy Saint Patricks Day

Green ribbons and shamrocks were worn in celebration of St Patrick's Day as early as the 17th century. He is said to have used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pre-Christian Irish, and the wearing and display of shamrocks and shamrock-inspired designs have become a ubiquitous feature of the day. The phrase "the wearing of the green", meaning to wear a shamrock on one's clothing, derives from the song of the same name.

Easter is just around the corner so I thought it would be fun to have Bunny Rabbits as our Font of the month. I couldn't get the tumbnail to turn out very clear, so you will have to click on the link above to see a better picture. It is super cute, the font is actually made out of bunny rabbits.
